Our "many art balloons" mural is located at the Awakening Minds Art studio. It was painted by Emily Sullivan and inspired by our students. We hope each and every AMA visitor, student and caregiver will take a moment and capture a photo!
Earlier in the year, AMA asked community members and students how art makes each of them stronger? In other words, how does art benefit YOU? Some of the balloons include popular answers from that project, including Art Makes Me FOCUS, and Art Makes FREE!
Other balloons are inspired by actual student artwork and the techniques taught by Awakening Minds Art instructors.
By creating this mural, we hope to emphasize the importance of art in everyone's life and to give our students a sense of ownership and pride over the Awakening Minds Art Studio.
