Summer Programs

World Palette: Art, Storytelling, & Community- 13 years + and adults

What if art could connect us to cultures and stories from around the world?

This summer, Awakening Minds Art, in partnership with Journey to Belonging, invites you to participate in World Palette: Art, Storytelling, and Community — a creative workshop experience inspired by global cultures, storytelling, and artistic traditions.

Each session will begin with a short cultural presentation highlighting countries, cultures, and refugee experiences from around the world. Participants will then create guided paintings and mixed-media artwork inspired by the themes, colors, symbols, and artistic styles explored during the session.

No art experience is needed — just curiosity and creativity.

Workshop Highlights

• Guided painting and mixed-media art activities • Cultural inspiration from around the world • Creative exploration in a welcoming community setting • New themes and artistic inspiration each session

$5 per session. Sign up for one or all! Download flyer here.

  • More to come soon!
