REGISTRATION GUIDELINES

  • All Programming must be registered for ahead of time.

  • A minimum of 5 students is necessary to hold class.​​

  • If you can no longer attend a class you've registered for, please let us know as soon as possible. 48-hour notice is required for a refund.

  • Registrations may be transferrable to other dates and people, but please give us at least 24 hour notice.

summer classes At the ama studio

My Favorite Animals - $15/participant, recommended for school-aged children

  • This class is designed for kids who love to make art inspired by animals!
    Every week will have a different animal theme with a painting, drawing, or collage project to do! 

    This class takes place every Wednesday from June 4 - August 13, 2025 from 10-11am. Sign up for one of them or several!

My Adult & Me Preschool Painting

  • Recommended for 2-7 year olds with an adult

  • Here’s an activity that you both can achieve together! Step-by step painting process with a focus on counting, colors, and shapes.

  • $20 per child and adult, $10 child add-on (if you have more than one child per adult companion)

  • Saturday, August 2nd at 10-11am

Origami Sunflowers - $10/participant

  • Recommended for teens-adults, ability to fold paper necessary

  • Learn to fold sunflowers with paper!

  • Wednesday, July 9th 5:30-6:30pm

Painting & Drawing Camp - $35/participant, includes 2, 2-hour classes

  • Learn the fundamentals of art mediums for painting and drawing, including types of paint/drawing supplies, mark-making, and color exploration. This is an introduction or a review of art mediums with lots of possibilities for creativity!

  • All ages welcome!

WITH SHOWCASE ON THE 31ST 5:30-6:30 PM

$150 per participant

Children & teens with special needs and their siblings (if applicable).
Children 5 years and over recommended.
Includes: visual art, performing art, and musical art instruction & supplies, camp T-shirt, and an end-of-camp celebration!

Cops & Kids Get Creative

-Free painting classes made possible by the Marianna Hofer Endowment Fund through the Findlay-Hancock Community Foundation

-In collaboration with Cops & Kids, Fort Findlay FOP Lodge 20

-These classes are for kids, but families are welcome to join, if space allows

-FREE but registration is required. Light refreshments provided.

-Part of the Findlay-Hancock Community Foundation’s Fun for All series.

-FREE but registration is required.

  • May 10th, 10-11am Resin Flowers. Create a floral sculpture with wire and resin - recommended for teens and adults

  • May 15th, 5:30-6:30pm - Painted Rocks. Paint ideas will include mandalas, garden markers, and more! - recommended for all ages

  • July 26th, 10-Noon - Art & Play with AMA and The Children’s Museum of Findlay! Paint, make your own play doh, and enjoy building and playing with other materials - recommended for families

  • August 2nd, 12-2pm - Make Your Own Paper - recommended for all ages
