Awakening Minds Art provides therapeutic and educational visual art programs to all ages and abilities.
Individuals, from toddler age to the elderly, in Northwest Ohio are able to participate in a unique, purposeful, and mission-focused program that leaves all feeling successful, beaming with pride, and happy.

What to Expect
The Art Auction is an exciting semi-formal event where guests will enjoy a special evening of celebration. The event showcases the students and the artwork made by students in the programming. While children are welcome to attend, parents should note that the event is primarily focused on fundraising and adult entertainment.
How to dress
Dress as if you’re attending a wedding. Most men wear a tie or sports jacket. Women usually wear a cocktail dress or business attire. But don’t let this stop you from breaking out that fancy outfit you’ve been dying to wear for months! Feel free to dress however you are comfortable.
What’s the Bar Situation?
Each table reservation (does not include general admission) will receive 2 drink tickets for each guest. After the tickets are used, you’re welcome to purchase beverages from the bar. There is also a full bar located outside of the event space.
The bar will include:
Domestic Beers: Bud Light & Michelob Ultra
Import Beers: Sam Adams Octoberfest & Stella Artois
House Wines: Moscato, Pinot Grigio, Merlot & Red Blend
Call Liquors: Knob Creek Bourbon, Crown Royal Whiskey, J&B Scotch, Beefeater Gin, EFFEN Vodka, Bacardi Silver Rum, & Captain Morgan Spiced Rum

What’s for dinner?
Prior to dinner being served there will be a Farmer’s Market Display (appetizers) from 6PM - 7PM
Each guest will be served a plated dinner around 7PM.

Bistro Filets -Butter & Herb Whipped Potatoes -Grilled Asparagus

How Much Money Should I Bring?
The amount of money you bring is entirely up to you. The hotel and Awakening Minds Art will both accept cash, check, or credit cards. Below is a list you might be spending your money on!
Additional drinks will be available for purchase, so bring money to cover your beverages.
Greeting cards & swag items will be available for purchase if you choose.
Auction pieces typically range from $500 - $2,000 each.
Mission Auction - didn’t win that painting? Money left in your budget?
We give you the opportunity at the end of the night towards the Mission Auction where donations will be collected for The AMA Forever Fund (Endowment Fund).
**DOES YOUR COMPANY OFFER EMPLOYEE MATCHING?
Be sure to let us know at checkout if your company offers matching funds for your contribution. We can issue a receipt that is written exactly how your employer needs it to issue the matching funds.
