REGISTRATION GUIDELINES
All Programming must be registered for ahead of time.
A minimum of 5 students is necessary to hold class.
If you can no longer attend a class you've registered for, please let us know as soon as possible. 48-hour notice is required for a refund.
Registrations may be transferrable to other dates and people, but please give us at least 24 hour notice.

Join us for a painting class designed for all ages and abilities! Your instructor will take you step-by-step through the painting process, making this achievable for everyone in the room - whether you're a seasoned pro or never picked up a paint brush in your life.

EXTRA SPECIAL classes At the ama studio
Free Classes for Individuals with Parkinson’s & their Caregivers & Friends -Funded by the Hancock County Parkinson’s Network.
This event is a free, 1-hour guided art class for individuals with Parkinson’s and their support network.
Participants will use painting and clay to exercise fine motor skills, reduce stress, and connect with others. Open to anyone living with Parkinson’s, along with caregivers, family, friends, and neighbors. No art experience required.

2026 Paint & Plant with Oh Happy Rea Plant Shop (At AMA)
Paint terra cotta pots with Awakening Minds - your AMA instructor is there to guide you! Then pick your plant, learn about proper planting and growing tips, add premium soil, and plant inside your brand new pot! Oh Happy Rea Plant Shop will answer your plant growing questions!

Painting on Wooden Panels $15/student

All ages welcome! Your instructor will take you step-by-step through a Spring painting, but instead of canvas, we'll be painting on wooden panels - approximately 11x14inches.
Paper Mache Workshop (2-day class) $30/student

Build and paint your own sculpture!
Mask-making Workshop (2-day class) $40/student
Build your own mask out of plaster bandages. Great for all ages! Learn about mask-making in other cultures. Then design, build, and paint your own!

Textured Painting $15/student

Paint on textured surfaces for a beautiful result you can feel! Great for all ages and abilities.

The camp is designed for children and teens with special needs (SIBLINGS CAN JOIN, TOO!) and typically-developing peer volunteers who are ready to experience the extraordinary benefits of the arts in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment!

My Favorite Animals $15/student

A favorite summer kids class is back! Join us any (or every!) Wednesday from June-Aug 5, 10-11am for a fun animal-inspired artwork. Animals rotate week to week along with the artmaking medium.
We recommend 5-12 year olds but anyone is welcome!
Messy Art Camp $45/student (includes a t-shirt to tie-dye)

Messy Art Camp is back! Recommended for ages 6-13. This process-art inspired camp is perfect for fun, artsy experiments!

My Adult & Me Preschool Painting

This is a class for you and your little(s)! $20 includes a step-by-step painting class for both you and one child. Want to bring more than one kiddo? That's ok - it's just $10 per additional child.
This is great for bonding with your little one - whether you are mom, dad, a grandparent, auntie, babysitter, or anyone special in their lives!
